SumoIQ Terms of Service

Interim — pending counsel review. These terms cover the SumoIQ website, the founding beta waitlist and the paper-trading beta. They will be replaced by counsel-reviewed terms before any paid or general release. Last updated: 8 October 2026.

1. Who we are

SumoIQ is software provided by Sumo IQ, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, 1207 Delaware Ave #3755, Wilmington, DE 19806, United States of America (“we”, “us”). These terms are an agreement between you and Sumo IQ, LLC. By joining the waitlist or using SumoIQ, you accept them.

Sumo IQ, LLC is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser or commodity trading adviser. We do not hold your money or securities. Brokerage services are provided by your broker under your agreement with them.

2. No advice

We do not recommend securities, strategies, trades or settings. Nothing on our website, in the app or in our messages to you is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. You make every trading decision and set every limit. SumoIQ does not change your settings for you; any change takes effect only when you approve it.

3. Your own signals only

You may connect only signals and strategies that you wrote or control. You may not use SumoIQ for copy trading, mirror trading, reselling signals, acting as a lead trader, or placing orders on someone else’s recommendations or for someone else’s account. We may suspend access if this rule is broken.

4. Orders at your direction

SumoIQ places orders in your brokerage account only as your connected signals and your settings direct, within the limits you set. You choose and are responsible for all sizing and risk settings. To do this, SumoIQ stores the access authorization your broker issues when you link your account. SumoIQ is designed to request trading permissions only and never the ability to withdraw funds.

5. The beta

SumoIQ is pre-release software. Features may change, fail or be withdrawn. Features described on our website roll out during the beta and may not yet be available to you. During the beta you use paper (simulated) accounts first; live use opens only when we tell you it is available to you, and then within limits we set. The founding beta is invitation-only, with 15 founding seats.

6. Trading risk and your duty to monitor

Automated trading involves substantial risk of loss. Orders may be delayed, rejected, partly filled, duplicated or not filled. Software, connectivity, market data and broker failures can occur, including failures of SumoIQ. You must monitor your account and positions yourself and keep your own protective orders at your broker. A halt in SumoIQ stops new entries; it does not close your positions, which stays your decision.

7. Your broker

Your broker’s terms govern your brokerage account. Your broker may limit or revoke SumoIQ’s access at any time. We are not responsible for your broker’s systems, outages, executions or decisions.

8. Eligibility and where SumoIQ is offered

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. SumoIQ is not offered in, or to residents of, Hong Kong, mainland China or any country or region subject to comprehensive US sanctions, or to anyone on a US sanctions list. We screen applicants against sanctions lists and may refuse or end access where required. SumoIQ is not offered to retail users in the European Union at launch.

9. Fees

The founding beta is free. After the beta, SumoIQ will be offered as a subscription in tiers; founding members receive founding pricing. We never charge a fee per trade. We will show you the price before you are asked to pay, and nothing is charged without your agreement.

10. Your data and our software

Your strategies, signals and settings remain yours. We use them only to run SumoIQ for you, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we do not sell, share or trade on them. The software, website and brand are ours; we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use SumoIQ under these terms. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

11. Acceptable use

Do not misuse SumoIQ: no attempts to break or probe its security without following our disclosure process, no interference with other users, no unlawful activity, and no use that breaks your broker’s terms.

12. Suspension and ending access

We may pause or end your access at any time, immediately where needed for safety, security or legal reasons. You may stop using SumoIQ at any time. When access ends, your open positions stay at your broker and are yours to manage.

13. No warranty

SumoIQ is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

14. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Sumo IQ, LLC is not liable for trading losses, lost profits or indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you paid nothing.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware. Counsel will advise on any arbitration and class-action terms before the final version.

16. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version with its date; material changes will be notified by email to beta participants. Questions: contact@sumoiq.io, or Sumo IQ, LLC, 1207 Delaware Ave #3755, Wilmington, DE 19806, United States of America.
