SumoIQ Privacy Policy
Interim — pending counsel review. This policy covers sumoiq.io, the founding beta waitlist and the paper-trading beta. It will be replaced by a counsel-reviewed policy before any paid or general release. Last updated: 8 October 2026.
1. Who is responsible
Sumo IQ, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, 1207 Delaware Ave #3755, Wilmington, DE 19806, United States of America, is responsible for your personal information. Contact: contact@sumoiq.io.
2. What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, the broker you use, your signal source, how many live strategies you run, whether you use or plan to use AI agents to trade, and what you tell us about your automation.
- Emails to us: your address and what you write.
- Beta use: account details; broker account identifiers and the access authorization your broker issues; your signals and strategy settings; orders, positions and fills; the record of why each order was sent or blocked; and usage and error logs.
- Website: standard technical data our host records when you visit, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, and we review this whenever a form provider’s embed is added. The waitlist form keeps your in-progress answers in your browser’s local storage so that it works, and its provider uses an error-reporting service that may receive technical data about your browser; neither is used for analytics or advertising.
We do not collect your broker password, and we do not receive or hold your funds.
3. How we use it
To run the waitlist and choose beta participants; to provide SumoIQ, check orders against your limits and keep the records that show what happened; to support you and answer your messages; to keep SumoIQ secure; to screen applicants against sanctions lists; and to meet legal duties.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We never use your signals or trading data to trade. We do not use them to train models for anyone else without your explicit opt-in.
4. Who we share it with
- Your broker, as needed to place the orders your signals and settings direct.
- Service providers who work for us under contract: hosting, backup storage, email and productivity tools (which is also where we keep your waitlist answers), and our waitlist form provider.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not send your signals, orders, strategy settings or personal information to AI model providers.
5. Where it is stored
We and our service providers may store and process your information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where we do, we protect it as this policy describes.
6. How long we keep it
- Waitlist answers: until the beta is filled and for up to 24 months after, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is first.
- Beta account and trading records: while your account is open and for a period afterwards so you and we can review what happened and meet legal duties. Some records of order decisions may be kept after a deletion request where the law allows; we will tell you which when you ask.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and you can leave the waitlist at any time, by emailing contact@sumoiq.io. Residents of California and other US states with privacy laws have these rights under those laws, and we will not treat you differently for using them. We answer within 45 days. Wherever you live, you can ask us for the same access, correction and deletion by emailing contact@sumoiq.io.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without authorisation. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires. Report a security concern to security@sumoiq.io.
9. Children
SumoIQ is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
We will post any update here with its date, and tell beta participants by email about material changes.
